New exhibition and works by Fang Xiang, He Qi and Jove Wang

"From the Figure" exhibit is now on display through August 3. The exhibit includes works by Bren Sibilsky, Molly Johnson, Nancy McDonald, and Mary Qian. Please see www.linden.barnsitegallery.com for information on and photos of the artists' works.
In addition, our galleries have negotiated the rights to sell the personal collection of California Master painter Jove Wang. An extensive display of Jove's works will be on display.

Save August 8, 2008, 7 P.M. (opening day of Olympics in Beijing) for our first fundraiser at Linden Gallery to benefit the Sichuan Earthquake Victims in China. We will have an evening of music, food and an auction featuring new works of artists from all over the nation.
Waverly Liu, artist and teacher will be going to Sichuan this summer to see firsthand what has happened. She will give a talk at the gallery about her experience there. Remember, 8/8/08--Food, music and beautiful art. Come, listen, donate, it's a great way to help out others in need.

Ellison Bay couple builds a cultural retreat in the isolated mountains of China. Aging is an effective catalyst for some to take that dream vacation or open that cafe or bookstore, before it's too late.
Brian and Jeanee Linden's we're-not-getting-any-younger moment yielded plans for a cultural retreat in the Dali region of southwest China's Yunnan Province.
'If we don't do it now, we're getting older and it's getting more expensive, and China is growing so quickly,' Brian said.
